I started my professional career in 2016 in the position of “Design Engineer” and was involved in a continuous Plastic Product and Injection mould design and development/improvement/upgrade of resolving customers queries globally by collecting appropriate data and finding the Root Cause and to come up with a plan to resolve it and make it error-proof. There are many parts I have worked but the major but key roles played in the development of the following parts: Air Intake Systems, Air Intake Manifold, Speed o meters, Dashboards, Hoses, Clips, Connectors, Clamps, Door Handles, Steering Column Covers, Handle grips, Checker Arms. Evaluated and resolved Product Data management, and recommended VA/VE Solutions for better product performance and cost-saving.

At present, I have knowledge of 4+ Designing Softwares (Unigraphics NX, Solid Works, Catia, Autocad, Ansys) and related fields (Product Design, Plastic Defects, CFD, NVH, FEA understanding, Lean Working Methods). Plastic Product Design, Jigs, and Fixture design, Rapid Prototyping Methodologies, Poka Yoke importance, and implementation, Product Development activities, APQP basics, Analysis and testing methodologies, Project Management, and required documentation – these are the number of skills every day I work with and in what I’m improving my abilities constantly.

WHAT I DO

During the last few years, I’ve been working as a “Mechanical Design Engineer” specialist providing gathering and transforming companies’ requirements into well-documented technical requirements of product functionality and Manufacturability which are easy to read, understand and implement.
Excellent analytical and research skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts in easy-to-understand language – allow me to communicate actively with all company departments involved in the process and identify the most effective solutions which provide maximum performance at minimal costs.
I am passionate about clean and elegant Plastic Product Designing and believe that laconic documentation in conjunction with detailed descriptions of workflows and rules – saves not only time but money.
Years of on-hand experience with various kinds of high-loaded product design systems, built on top of modern technologies makes me strongly believe that the development of elegant, effective, and user friendly-products – is the best profession!

Key Result Areas:

  • Responsible for providing Design & Development and provide Design support to overseas unit.
  • Took responsibilities of RFQ to Production stage Design including ECN.
  • Responsible of Design L/O preparation of Plastic Parts Air Intake Systems.
  • Coordinate with CAE to perform necessary design changes to meet Performance requirements.
  • Coordinate and conduct review meetings with other departments to ensure Design Competence of RFQ proposal.
  • Prepare Design Review document for communication with customer.
  • Provide VA/VE solution to reduce complexity and time of vibration welded components into on-going Proto
    Development Phase Project.
  • Preparing Documents like Gantt Chart/Timeline Chart, DFMEA ,Tool Go Document , Initial level APQP Documents, QA
    Table etc.
  • Analyse Mold Flow, Finite Element Analysis, Acoustics, sealing and other test performed on part as per the country
    norms.
  • Proposing new idea for reducing the rejections and wastage.
  • Study the root cause to resolve all CAD and Tooling related concerns of the component
